Lane closures expected to last through July; three full-service and two E-ZPass lanes remain open

Beginning the week of June 24, construction will continue along the westbound Dulles Toll Road impacting the Main Toll Plaza. As a result, two center lanes will be closed for several consecutive weeks through July.

During the closures, three full-service lanes on the right and two E-ZPass lanes on the left will remain open at the Main Toll Plaza westbound. Please see below for more detailed information.

Customers should follow new directional signage and be prepared for delays during high-volume travel times. All work is weather dependent and subject to change.

What:               Multi-Lane Shutdown

Where:            Main Toll Plaza, between Exits 16 and 17

Toll Lane:        Two center lanes (lanes 3 and 4)

Why:                Installation of new toll collection system

Please drive carefully! Drivers are asked to use caution and pay attention to all signage, police direction and barricades. Lane shutdowns will alternate throughout the project, impacting traffic seven days a week, 24-hours per day. Delays are expected.
