Q: Why is the speed limit low in the E-ZPass lanes?
A: The posted speed limits are set to ensure the safety of the public and the toll facility workers.
Q: What do the lights at the toll booths mean?
A: This is described in detail on the How to Pay Tolls page.
Q: I was driving in the Full Service lane and my E-ZPass transponder didn't work. Why do I have to pay the toll?
A: It is the responsibility of the E-ZPass holder to ensure their transponder has sufficient funds and is operating properly. You will be required to pay the toll and we recommend you contact the Customer Service Center at 1 (877) 762-7824 for assistance.
Q: Can I get a receipt for my E-ZPass transactions?
A: Simply log in to your E-ZPass account to view a detailed transaction history.
Q: I went through a ramp toll plaza location after hours and did not pay because no one was present to provide change - is that a toll violation?
